With a shared goal of “Takbo para sa turismo at kultura,” it was a sight to behold.

A Journey Through Puerto Princesa’s Charm

The course was thoughtfully planned to showcase the city’s beauty, taking participants on a scenic journey through its most beloved spots. The path wound through historic streets and past cultural landmarks, giving everyone a running tour of Puerto Princesa’s heart before looping back to the finish line. The festive atmosphere was boosted by sponsor giveaways and fun activities such as stamp collecting along the way, truly blending fitness with a celebration of local tourism.

What makes an event stick with you? Sometimes, it’s the unexpected moments. While everyone was giving it their all on the 3K, 5K, and 10K routes, the special awards truly captured the event’s spirit. We saw a peacock-inspired duo win Best in Tourism Icon Costume, Spiderman zipping by as the Most Active Runner, and a lovely balayong-inspired runner crowned Darling of the Crowd.

The celebration embraced runners of all generations, proving that fun runs can bring together families, friends, and communities alike. To top it off, exciting raffle prizes like overnight hotel stays added an extra layer of excitement.

All these moments made the entire event a joyful celebration of Puerto Princesa’s tourism pride.
